Job Description:
Specialist FP&A will be responsible for providing and leading financial decision support with business partners and research and recommending options and solutions for improved business results to senior management. The candidate will also execute all Monthly reporting and look for ways to automate and simplify processes. This role will specifically focus on supporting Medline US divisions and would have exposure to partner with business & other teams.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze financial results, trends, and metrics monthly. Communicate key drivers regarding the full financial profit and loss statement (sales, AGM, customer drivers, adjustments, etc.) at Medline Brand level.
- Partner with the On-shore team to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines are met.
- Partner in initiatives taken centrally and work with central reporting team local as well as in US.
- Support new business initiatives, system integrations, and other major change management impacting the FA team.
- Support the onshore team to prepare quarterly forecast, annual Financial Plan and Long-Range Plan. Understand & document the business drivers that impact actual and forecast financials.
- Partner with the onshore team to conduct and lead quarterly/monthly financial business reviews with Divisions and other senior management.
- Provide specialized expertise & support projects within FP&A team to drive process improvement and consistency.
Guiding the junior team mates and ensuring the analysis deep dive goes up
- Provide function-relevant Finance expertise and assistance to the team as required. Respond to all relevant queries (including ad-hoc) from onshore business partners in an accurate and timely manner.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of financial planning, management reporting, and/or analysis experience, preferably in Manufacturing organization
- Experience in working cross-functionally and collaboratively in a global organization.
- Strong technical accounting skills and practical knowledge of the principles of financial accounting and accounting standards
- Strong in MS Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint advanced skillset)
- Ability to communicate strongly and influence without authority.
- Strong analytical skills & continuous improvement mindset
- Flexibility and good team player
- Multiple stakeholder management
- SAP knowledge
- Good to have : US Travel Visa
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- CA with 5-8 years or Engineer & MBA from Top Tier Schools with 3-5 years of exp.
- Alteryx / Tableau certified
