Financial Planning & Analysis Associate - SaaS

About you

You are a team player who will provide cross-functional support as you receive exposure to all aspects of the business. This includes (but is not limited to) management reporting, financial modeling, and involvement in our long-term strategic planning process, sales optimization and retention analysis, and market analysis.

As our FP&A Associate, you will

- Partner with multiple business units in developing annual plans and supporting monthly and quarterly operating reviews - including budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, month end close etc.

- Build, maintain, and improve financial models, including the long-term corporate financial model, and perform analyses to support strategic initiatives

- Support headcount planning, resource allocation, create and manage processes to support discretionary expense tracking, capex tracking.

- Setup and improve reporting automation to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time.

- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial business reviews for executive management targeting areas of potential shortfalls or opportunities.

- Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics to track department-specific and company-wide trends, growth initiatives, business performance, and visibility into operating performance.

- Flex creative muscles in applying data & numbers to tell the financial story of the company.

To be successful, you should have

- 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, VC/PE, corporate planning, business finance, FP&A or related fields - preferably for a B2B and/or recurring SaaS business.

- Expert in financial modeling, Excel and PowerPoint

- Strong understanding of accrual accounting, GAAP frameworks and comfortable with multiple data sources.

- Ability to quickly identify and methodically resolve potential cross functional roadblocks with a proficiency in speaking in trade-offs.

- An ability to collaborate constructively with, and influence, business leaders and finance colleagues

- Exceptional presentation and writing skills, along with the ability to clearly communicate messages that link business issues, financial results, and strategy at the executive level.
