Financial Controller - Real Estate/BFSI

Job Title - Finance Controller

Department: Finance

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IND AS and other regulatory requirements.

- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Lead the annual budgeting process, including setting financial targets and monitoring performance against budgets.

- Develop and update financial forecasts based on current business trends and economic conditions.

- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

3. Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax laws and corporate governance standards.

- Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and address any audit findings.

4. Cash Flow Management:

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.

- Optimize working capital and manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

5. System and Process Improvement:

- Identify and implement improvements to financial systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Leverage technology to streamline financial operations and reporting.

1. Educational Background:

- MBA or Master's in Finance or Economics.

- CA certification is a must.

2. Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PPT.

- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

- Familiarity with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

3. Work Experience:

- At least 10-15 years of experience in a related field.

- Experience in managing working capital limits of term loans

- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and manage disputes effectively
