Financial Controller - Real Estate

Job Description : The finance controller along with the Business controller run the finance function of the group

The FC is expected to play an active role in the routine finance function as well as assist the CFO in M&A, IPO, new JVs, Corporate finance and finance strategy & Preferably from Assurance.

Description :

- Working with Business Heads and Key Management to create and track key business parameters/metrics, such as Cost per unit, profitability, cash flow levels, etc., and map them against industry average, industry best practice, business plan and internal business plan; and report variances on each parameter to Board

- Provide analysis on business performance data such as profitability levels, collections level as per defined standards to Management and shareholders

- Development and presentation of financial reports and Board Meeting packs in attractive and informative formats.

- To monitor adherence and compliance to agreements (client and otherwise), limits of authority and ensure financial terms are met and complied with. Highlights and reports on any variations and deviations.

- Supports business units and concerned offices with all financial and administration related functions. Assist is smooth running of all offices.

- Preparation of cash flow forecasts and management of working capital flow.

- The FC is responsible for taking the Finance function to world class levels, along with the other finance functional heads and the CFO

- The FC expected to work closely with the CFO & COO in business finance, Cost optimisation working capital and fund management.

- Financial Reporting, Including AR, AP, FA, Record to Report, and all related processes

- Handling all Auditing matters (Int & STAT)

- Assist the CFO is M&A

- Work with the Treasury head in Fund raising - Tax and accounting guidance

- Cost Controllership

- Direct Tax and Tax accounting

- Indirect Tax function

Requirements :

- CA with 12-5 Years Exp

- Accounting (ERP env), Direct tax, Management reporting, audit, compliance, treasury accounting, & Assurance

- Preferred from Big4 consulting group.
