About Our Client

Our client is a leading Global off shore infrastructure and marine services company. They have been awarded a prestigious project worth 250 million $ by the government of India. The project was commissions in 2011 for which they are looking for Financial Controller.

Job Description

Based out of the site office you will be reporting to the Project controller and functionally to the India Project head.

1. Setting up a complex financial and administrative organisation for the project (depending on the complexity, in consultation with the BUC or Sr. PC) Converting the tender budget into the work budget.

2. Keeping accounts.

3. Drawing up and analyzing budget checks and FAD reports.

4. Handling Income tax, service tax, expatriat tax, Excise and VAT.

5. Indicating and reporting risks, deadlines/contractual obligations (particularly financial) and helping and showing an interest in business.

6. Office management / directing local staff.

7. Monitoring guidelines from head office and the general interests of the company.

The Successful Applicant

You are CA with minimum 5 years working in a offshore infrastructure, marine service or infrastructure industry. Additionally you have thorough knowledge of foreign reporting systems, treasury, insurance FAD and BCR reporting. You have exceptional communication skill and are willing to relocate to a site location.
