About our Client - Our client is a leading US multinational business with a presence that spans more than 125 countries. They are headquartered in the US and have a manufacturing facility based in Chengalpet in Chennai With a small scale presence currently in India, they are currently looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the finance function as well as commercial activities to help facilitate growth for their India business

Job Description - Reporting to the Asia Pacific CFO based in Shanghai, you would be responsible for:

- Ensure all accounting practices are prepared on a timely basis and reported in accordance with local and US GAAP

- Maintain an effective internal control environment in accordance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act and compliance policies

- Direct the preparation of annual budgets and investment proposals

The Successful Candidate - You must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 10 to 15 years of post qualification experience within a services based organization. You must have exposure to a US Multinational company with working knowledge of US-GAAP and SOX compliance. You will be a hands-on individual with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional communication skills is essential. You must be willing to travel to Chengalpet, Chennai
