The incumbent will be responsible for leading the financial operations of the organization. The successful candidate will manage financial reporting, analysis, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. They will also oversee various accounting functions, tax processes, and ensure financial discipline while driving cost reduction programs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. MIS & Financial Analysis:

- Prepare Management Information System (MIS) reports for higher management on financial results.

- Perform variance analysis and recommend measures to address any deviations.

2. Account Finalization:

- Oversee finalization of legal entity accounts, tax accounts, and cost accounts, ensuring best-in-class reporting standards.

- Lead the finalization of accounts for international geograpthies

3. Financial Performance Improvement:

- Oversee material accounting functions, including material audits.

- Manage sales accounting with an objective to improve financial performance metrics.

4. Payroll & Trust Administration:

- Oversee payroll processes and the administration of retiral trusts (PF/SAF/GF).

5. Policy and Compliance Oversight:

- Serve as the custodian of accounting and financial policies.

- Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements, including J-SoX.

6. Financial Procedure Implementation:

- Conceptualize, implement, and continuously improve financial procedures to ensure robust financial operations.

7. Leadership & Team Management:

- Lead the financial operations team (including outsourced operations), ensuring financial controls and discipline are maintained.

- Drive effective interaction with statutory auditors and direct tax authorities.

8. Internal Financial Controls:

o Ensure the effective function of internal financial controls and compliance with relevant regulations.

9. Tax Compliance:

- Lead the drive for compliance with direct tax-related changes, such as TDS, TCS, etc., in collaboration with various departments, dealers, vendors, and customers.

10. Cost Reduction Programs:

- Lead and drive cost reduction initiatives, ensuring results are captured and integrated into major programs.

Qualification & Experience:

- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- Experience: 20+ years in finance, preferably from manufacturing, industrial equipment, industrial machinery, or capital equipment sectors.
