About Our Client

My client is a leading global on-line digital company who are a leader in their field. Head quartered in the US, they currently operate across more than 30 countries worldwide covering a full range of data collection services. With a small scale presence currently in India, they are currently looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the finance function as well as commercial activities to help facilitate growth for their India business.

Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Director - APAC and the India Country Manager, you will handle the day to day finance requirements within a growing office environment. Your responsibilities will include:

- Take control of finance and Admin functions within the India operations.

- Oversee and Prepare Indian Management Accounts

- Manage accounting for Foreign Exchange related transactions.

- Manage reconciliations, balance sheets, Profit & Loss statements and general ledgers

- Manage yearly audit and tax returns with the help of external accounting firm

- Bring the entire finance function in-house

- Manage all India Company secretarial services

- Manage Master Service Agreements with International and Domestic clients

- Coordinate with external accounting firm for the audit as per Indian GAAP

- Oversee billing to clients in conjunction with APAC team Coordinate - Payroll for 6 -10 staff

- Calculate local taxes as required Service tax compliance

- Implement global policies

- Manage Intercompany Billing and Reconciliations Take control of finance and Admin functions within the India operations.

The Successful Applicant

You must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 7 years of post qualification experience within a services based organization. You must have exposure to a US Multinational company with working knowledge of US-GAAP. You will be a hands-on individual with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels. Exceptional communication skills is essential.
