Job Description:
Reporting into the CFO, the role would be:
- Responsible for overall Finance and Accounts function for the firm including accounting, taxation, controls, management reporting, regulatory reporting (RBI), audit and related regulatory compliance
- Financial Statements/related reporting in compliance with applicable regulatory/statutory reporting requirements
- Ensuring and monitoring of control environment over financial operations and financial reporting in keeping with the best practices
- Management of tax positions, tax risks (including arising from international and domestic transfer pricing arrangements) and tax planning with a view to optimise the tax outflows.
- Maintain and nurture relationship with investors, regulators, bankers, auditors and consultants/advisors
The Successful Candidate:
- Should be a Qualified CA with 12-15 years of post qualification experience with a General Insurance Company
- Should possess good knowledge in financial controls, reporting & taxation
- Should have team management & team building experience
- Should possess excellent communication & problem solving skills
- Should be a champion in internal & external stake-holder management
