Job Description - As the Financial Controller, you will be entrusted with overseeing Accounting, Financial Strategy, Cost Savings, Budgeting, Taxation, Compliance, Stakeholder Management and other Banking related matters.

Description

As the Financial Controller you would be managing:

- Cash flow management: Monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimise funds flow.

- Banking: Ensuring funding through managing receivables and managing banking relationships.

- Compliance: Aligning compliance with local law, tax provisions and relevant industry and financial regulations. Including TDS, GST, PF etc.

- Approving transactions: Ensuring transactions are properly approved and coded in the general ledger.

- Audit liaison: Coordinating with external financial, compliance and tax auditors.

- Budget: Managing the budget, including incorporating historical data.

- Financial strategy: Aid in developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.

- Cost savings: Identifying efficiencies and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.

Profile :

A successful Financial Controller would have:

- 8+ years of experience in finance management.

- Experience of having worked in MNCs. Candidates with experience in the logistics industry would be preferred.

- Excellent working knowledge of MS-Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook, Power BI, Oracle etc.

- A CA/CMA/CS/ MBA Finance qualification

- Currently based in Mumbai City.

- Someone with working knowledge of financial accounting, project management and legal, and secretarial affairs would be preferred.
