They provide the customers with payment services, along with merchant transactions, bill payment, and cash collection services. Our client is headquartered in Gurgaon and currently has more than 12 million customers and 5,000 agents for merchant transactions.

- They now run one of the largest and the most efficient domestic money transfer services in the country in partnership with banks and also has a Prepaid Payment Instrument license from RBI. In order to bring in payment services to millions of Indians, the company has partnered with State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank and IndusInd Bank. Currently, they serve in 80 towns and cities spread over 13 states in India.

- As a Financial Controller, you will oversee all F&A tasks such as Financial Close, reporting, commission assurances, payments, banking management, legal & all tax compliances etc.

What you will do :

- Preparing/ coordinating the budget and financial forecasts for next year and report variances on a month on month basis

- Working with accounting team to prepare and publish timely monthly MIS

- Working with the accounting and payroll team for streamlining invoicing, vendor payment processes

- Driving a complete transformation of its Business Operations Reconciliations by implementing a third party financial reconciliation software.

- Playing a hands on role in getting completely involved & taking over the responsibility from F&A department perspective for all related, connected tasks

- Working through various teams as IT, Operations, Product Vendor teams, internal F&A stakeholders, Accounting outsourcing to get these tasks successfully completed.

- Handling the entire F&A related tasks up to the accounting, controlling for core Business Operations transactions & financial events, once the software Product is implemented.

Candidate Profile:

- CA /ICWA with at least 8 years of experience in F&A, monthly closing, Income tax and GST compliances, handling statutory audits (preferably Big 4s) etc

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to develop/improve/write & implement processes for tasks that would get re-defined upon implementation of the Software product

- Team handling ability is a key essential ingredient

- Sound understanding of complete Financial Accounting

- Ability to understand business operations & translate its Accounting impact as Journal entries

- Ability to get hands on to carry out tasks & responsibilities

Desired but not essential:

- Prior experience of managing business Operations reconciliation involving large volumes would be desired but not essential for the right candidate

- Prior experience of working with any Accounting technology software as Tally, Oracle, SAP etc would be highly desired though not essential
