Financial Controller (Financial Planning and Accounting)
1. Timely Books Closure & smooth closure of Audits:
- Ensure Review and reporting of Financials within prescribed TAT. Ensuring Books are closed and numbers are reported within agreed timeline.
- Putting up the control, monitoring and improvisation in reporting in each area of P&L - Opex, Revenue, CoB & ECL.
- Overall closure of Books along with co-ordination with Planning team and ensure timely management reporting.
2. To ensure correct financial position of the Company is reported:
3. Control & Automation- Monitoring of Digital Index, New initiatives in Automation, health of Balance Sheet GL accounts and adherence to financial policies and processes:
- Identifying Potential of automation in processes and monitoring to automate,
- Drive Digitization & Process automation in the following areas:
- Maintain end-to-end P2P process for vendor.
- Automation of system and collection recon,
- Automation in Regulatory Reporting,
- Ensure adequate financials controls and compliance to FDOA, Financial policies, internal agreed compliance
- Reporting on key KPIs, Compliances & Litigation reporting, if any.
4. Ensure Tax Compliances and Build the efficiency:
- Compliance to Income Tax and GST incl. timely tax payment, returns etc.
- Validation of Advance Tax, Annual Tax return and filling it on portal within due dates
- Ensuring timely closure of Tax Audit as per due date and Filling it on Portal,
- Effectively handle tax assessment and tax notices/litigation and getting this filed within due date
5. Regulatory (NHB) Reporting:
- Validation of returns to be filed with NHB on monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually from Finance team
- Coordination with Auditors for submitting Audited data to NHB from Finance
- Building up the control around the NHB compliances to ensure accurate filing of data with NHB
- Getting the data back ready for NHB Inspection purpose.
6. Team & Self Development:
- Creating engaged environment by putting regular interactive program etc., recognition through awards etc.
- Finding the opportunity for Training /Development and providing opportunities to get it
- Development on Soft skills- more focus on communication & Presentation
This position reports to CFO.
