Objective : 


The positions reports to Management and assists them on strategic and tactical matters related to companies growth plans, policies and processes, statutory and regulatory compliances, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc. for the company in India.

Overall responsibility for managing/overseeing Finance, Accounts, Business plan/MIS, Direct and Indirect taxation, Customer Credit, Statutory and Regulatory Compliance, Legal and participate in Mergers and Acquisitions /Joint venture activities

Roles & Responsibilities :

Strategic participation :

a. Participate and assist in formulating the company's corporate strategic plan, growth plans and achievement of performance targets.

b. Monitor and direct the implementation of corporate strategic objective and business plans.

c. Develop and maintain financial and tax strategies, including Treasury and Forex management.

d. Develop and maintain performance measures, data analytics that support the company's vision, mission and direction.

e. Develop and maintain systems that confidentiality is maintained at all levels in the organization and by all participants.

f. Introduction of best business practices and best business benchmarks.

g. Use of IT as a business enabler, process improvement, ease of doing business, speed and accuracy and real time data analysis for business decisions.

h. Participate in key business decision making with Management.

Functional and Operating :

a. Finance, Accounts and Treasury

b. Business Planning, MIS and Reviews.

c. Direct and Indirect Taxation, other applicable laws, including employee/labor related.

d. Customer credit management and customer credit insurance.

e. Knowledge of all business insurances.

f. Merger & Acquisitions and Joint Ventures.

g. Legal and Compliance (statutory, regulatory and applicable compliance).

h. Business related commercial and other negotiations.

Manage/Oversee the aforesaid functional areas with the objective of :

a. Formulating and implementing sound financial management policies, processes and systems that ensures effective control and accountability.

b. Optimum use of available resources.

c. Adherence to company policies and applicable statutory, regulatory and compliance framework across levels.

d. Real time record maintenance, timely completion/presentation of various information/reports, e.g. Annual Audited Accounts, Annual business plan, MIS reports, Head office reportings, reporting to external vendors (Banks/Financial Institutions) etc, including risk reporting and mitigation recommendations.

e. Ensure to have best needed legal documentation for the organization.

f. Hire, develop and train best talent in the organization.

g. Participate in company's end to end work in organic and inorganic business growth.

h. Discuss and provide feasibility analysis/reports (including recommendations) for business decisions and initiatives.

i. Identification and use of technology as a business enabler on a continuous basis. Approve and monitor major IT projects, IT budgets, priorities, standards, procedures, and overall IT performance.

j. Maintains relationship with external agencies, vendors, auditors, secretarial service providers, rating agencies, Insurance companies, credit insurance providers, Investment and Financial Institutions/lenders.

k. Represent Organization with various external agencies/ authorities
