Position : Financial Controller for India

Responsibilities/Role Objectives:

He will play a critical role in partnering with Core Management / leadership team in strategic decision making and operations as the origination continues to enhance its operational efficiency and business growth. Organizational Unit : Finance, Taxation, Procurement & Administration

Hierarchical Reporting : Managing Director - India

Functional Reporting : CFO

Direct Hierarchical Reporting : Finance, Taxation, Procurement & Administration

Key Activities :

Budgets and Management Reporting :

- Provide Timely reporting information, all locations (India)

- Work with Managing Director Contribute to development of the Strategic Plan

Financial Processing :

- Review all Financial Process and Internal Control Procedures

- Manage and control all activities concerning accountancy, finance,cash management, credit collection

Compliance Management :

- Ensure correct and efficient tax planning and management; assure all due diligences and compliance is met.

- Manage the company assets

- Manage overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of procurement for the company

- Perform all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, tender management, negotiation and preparation of contracts

- Develop key relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to obtain best price and service.

- Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial goals.

- Office & Administrative Management Role

- Perform Risk Management & Assessments and plan all controlling and audit activities.

- Support the business units with respect to consolidation of budgeting and reporting data.

- Streamlining finance processes by introducing required tooling and IT systems providing transparency to management team

- Team building and coaching of the finance team

- Implementing data driven approach and business analytics

- Coalescing with sales team for project finance evaluation, tax and compliance validation

Qualification : Chartered Accountant ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree with at least 6-8 years of valid experience in a similar company, both in administration function and financial controller.

Location is Trivandrum.
