Financial Controller - CA/ICWA - Automotive/FMCG/Healthcare/Manufacturing

Looking for Fully qualified CA or ICWA with exp in statutory compliance for multiple legal entities in India.

- Single Point Accountability for all internal controls, SOX and Internal Audit requirements and compliances

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND EXPECTED END RESULT:

Financial Accounting :

- Drives accurate, complete and timely submission of Financial statements for 2 legal entities in accordance with US GAAP (management reports) and local GAAP to meet local and global reporting standards and deadlines

- Performs critical month-end and year-end activities including but not limited to review and approval of manual journal entries proposed by SSC and Financial and Tax Analyst, corporate tax calculation

- Analysis of monthly balance sheet accounts for upload

Statutory Reporting and Compliance :

- Ensures timely completion of audited financial statements for filing with the required government agencies

- Performs critical tasks including but not limited to preparation of audit schedules, submission of substantive document requirements in coordination with local finance, manufacturing finance, SSC and external parties like corporate secretary and tax consultants as required by external auditors

- Support tax team for any local / USGAAP compliances.

- Support other finance sub-teams for in country requirements.

Internal Audit, IFC and SOX Compliance :

- Oversees the IFC and ICFR process as per local law requirements, ensuring that auditors are provided with requested information and supporting documents

- Drives the internal audit process and communicates, implements and monitors completion of internal audit recommendations

Acts as coordinator for SOX by :

- Providing updates to internal users on key changes to policies

- performing self-assessment of financial accounting processes and controls to analyze gaps in complying with SOX requirements and crafting mitigating action plans

- Recommends, implements and monitors effective controls across the India organisation
