Job Title: Chartered Accountant - Finance Controller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as a Finance Controller. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, accounting, and controlling. This role is critical for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance with local regulations, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting:

- Prepare, review, and present financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/GAAP).

- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts.

- Monitor budget performance and provide insights on variances.

Financial Analysis:

- Perform in-depth financial analysis, providing data-driven insights to senior management.

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance.

Compliance & Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations, and tax requirements.

- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

- Manage financial risk, including cash flow, debt, and capital structure.

Internal Controls & Process Improvement:

- Implement and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting and operational processes.

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in finance and accounting.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.

- Provide guidance and development opportunities to enhance team skills and efficiency.

Cash Flow Management:

- Oversee cash flow planning, ensuring adequate liquidity for the company's operations.

- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in financial management, controlling, or related fields.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.

- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, tax laws, and financial compliance.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team.
