Job Description : Financial Controller
Location : Ahmedabad, Gujarat
CTC Range: - 19 LPA - 35 LPA
Preferred Candidate: Gujarati-speaking
Role Overview:
The Finance Controller will lead critical financial operations and strategy for a well-established Startup Wellness company undergoing significant restructuring and expansion. The role encompasses business finance management, entity setup, mergers & acquisitions, and driving financial transformation. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional experience in handling complex financial frameworks and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Business Finance:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Provide financial insights and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.
Restructuring & Entity Setup:
- Oversee financial and operational restructuring to align with future goals.
- Manage the creation and financial structuring of new entities.
- Streamline processes and controls to ensure efficiency in a restructured environment.
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Evaluate M&A opportunities, including financial analysis and due diligence.
- Lead post-merger financial integration to ensure synergy realization.
Compliance & Financial Reporting:
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements.
- Oversee compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Coordinate with auditors, legal teams, and regulatory authorities.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business goals.
- Serve as a financial advisor to the leadership team and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred; MBA in Finance with significant relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience: Minimum 11+ years of progressive experience in finance, including restructuring, business finance, and M&A.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, Business Finance, regulatory frameworks, and tax planning.
- Proficiency in Gujarati is mandatory.

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial technology tools is a plus.
