Financial Controller

Job Description:

Job Summary: The Finance Controller will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. This position is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, managing stakeholder relationships, driving growth storytelling, and overseeing key financial processes and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors.

Role : Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

- Manage fund day-to-day operational activities, ensuring adherence to operational policies and procedures.

- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline operational processes

- Monitor fund performance metrics and report on operational efficiency.

Documentation Management:

- Maintain and update fund documentation including LP agreements, prospectuses, investment memos, and legal documents.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies for all fund documentation.

- Develop and implement document management protocols to enhance organization and accessibility.

- Compliance and Risk Management: Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and reporting requirements.

- Conduct periodic audits of operational processes and documentation to mitigate risks.

- Stakeholder and Investor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and investors.

- Effectively communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiativesto investors and stakeholders.

- Prepare Quarterly newsletter for Investors.

- Prepare, manage, and present financial insights and strategic recommendations and reports to support business decisions in board meetings.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive board deck to communicate financial. performance, strategic initiatives, and key business updates.

- Present financial insights and strategic recommendationsto support business decisions.

- Develop compelling narratives around the companys growth trajectory and key. performance indicators (KPIs) .

Investments:

- Monitor financials for portfolio and SPVinvestments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Track capital account statements for fund investments.

- Establish and manage SPV structures, including drafting Private Placement Memoranda (PPM) and Operating Agreements.

- Audit and Reporting:

- Support external audit functions by providing required financial information and ensuring. accuracy in all reports.

- Review accounting, fees, and carry calculations to ensure they align with company and investor expectations.

Financial Planning and Analysis(FP&A):

- Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes.

- Conduct due diligence on financial projects and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.

Compliance and Due Diligence:

- Ensure all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory. standards.

- Ensure all financial agreements and contracts are accurately processed and recorded.

- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards for US.

Treasury Management:

- Develop and implementstrategies for the effective utilization of unused cash balances.

- Monitor and manage the companys liquidity and cash flow to optimize financial. performance.

Accounts Payable/Receivable:

- Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate. processing of transactions.

- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clientsto support financial operations.

Qualifications:

- CA/CPA/ACCA. Proven experience in similar role is preferrable.

- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial regulations.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in financialsoftware and tools.

- Ability to work effectively with stakeholders, investors, and cross-functiona tteams.

- High level of integrity and professionalism.
