Financial Analyst to CFO (M&A)
You will work directly with the CFO to enable decision making via financial modelling, analysis, due diligence, budgeting, forecasting, M&A etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial models from scratch for potential acquisition and expansion opportunities & presenting business cases to senior stakeholders.
- Taking care of the entire budgeting cycle & presenting variance analysis to the management & also involve financial analysis & review of MIS.
- Taking part in the strategic decision making of the firm including identifying & evaluating opportunities to create a positive impact on both the top line & the bottom line of the firm.
- Analysing competitors and reporting key issues on the same.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly & yearly MIS of business and geographic areas.
- Work closely with senior leaders to analyze & interpret business performance from a financial perspective.
- Shift data from MIS & present it from decision-making perspective.
- Analysis & compare business performance on Key parameters of corporate performance.
- Data Mining from external environment on issues relevant to the firm.
- Trend analysis and projections based on current business performance & future prospects.
- Benchmark companies & provide insights for improvement.
- Market intelligence & trend spotting.
- Assessment & due diligence of target companies for M&A.
- Support in creation and deployment of strategy.
- Develop & implement management dashboards & business analytics to track corporate performance& strategy implementation.
Qualification And Experience:
1. CA & MBA with 2 to 3 years of experience & should have worked in Corporate Finance team in a Manufacturing Industry or TAS/M&A with big 4/consulting firm at some point.
2. The candidate should have strong excel skills. He/she should be proficient in finance modelling, MIS reporting, making presentations, investor reporting etc.
3. Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
4. Customer service-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
5. A hands-on approach for completing critical deliverables and capability to anticipate needs, think critically and offer solutions.
6. Creativity and willingness to work within an entrepreneurial environment that is results-driven and community oriented.
