Job Title Financial Analyst - Initiative Development Lab

Function : E Tail

Reporting to : Head - IDL ( dotted line reporting to CFO)

Purpose :

- Responsible for driving IDL's annual budgeting and financial planning activities, driving financial planning and viability analysis for each initiative/product idea and tracking overall financial impact of IDL led initiatives

Desired candidate profile :

Educational Qualifications : MBA ( Finance)/CA

Work experience (years) : 6-7 yrs

Industry type :

- Data analytics and corporate finance experience

- Preferably familiar with DHL corporate finance requirements and standards (BCA development etc.)

Experience/skill requirements :

- Knowledge of financial assessments and analysis for new product viability testing

- Competency to single handedly develop forecasting and budgeting models, ROI analysis and financial business case building

- Experience in financial analytics, MIS management etc.; capable of handling large amount of data and drawing insights

- Strong excel/statistical tools capability

- Highly motivated and willing to work in ambiguous situations to develop scenarios and possibilities for financial predictions

Key Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

Strategic :

- Work with IDL team to bring in financial feasibility and viability concerns with respect to new products/initiatives

- Manage team budget and annual planning

- Provide strategic advice and analysis to the IDL lead and senior management on various financial processes for new projects/ initiatives (such as financial plans, cash flow situation, budget optimization, etc.)

Financial :

- Ensure adherence to department budget

- Lead financial business case planning, feasibility analysis, ROI impact etc. for each initiative developed by IDL team

- Track financial progress of IDL initiatives in pilot and execution stage - provide visibility on financial analysis of these initiatives

- Support IDL team on scenario analysis, situation planning for each initiative

Operational :

- Manage costing and revenue impact records of pilots and executed initiatives

People :

- Collaborate with BDF to ensure IDL budgeting and initiative analysis are in line with organization practices and vision
