Financial Analyst (Hyperion) - BFSI (4-8 yrs)

Major Responsibility Areas and KRAs

- Production and maintenance of monthly Management Board Reports - Run the process to ensure that delivery of the Group's management reporting requirements (known as the "Management Board Report") in accordance with agreed timetables and that reports are 100% error free. All departures from timetable clearly communicated and agreed.

- Co-ordinate of the process with the various Finance functions and Hyperion systems & Group reporting requirements

- Perform the maintenance process prior to month-end to ensure that the suit of Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat files used for Management Board, Board and Business Unit reporting are constructed so as to deliver the report packs required on time and to eliminate the possibility of errors. Process includes rigorous checking of reported numbers to ensure accuracy to Hyperion data.

- Be proactive and initiate process improvement - Identify, recommend and implement improvements to the overall Hyperion and report production controls and processes within the area.

- Maintain and develop the suite of Excel templates and Pivot Tables used to produce the Board, Management Board and Business Unit Report packs - Be proactive in implementing innovative solutions to customer requirements, such as Excel Pivot Table based solutions.

- Reconcile and maintaining quality control and accuracy over the process - Maintain operational checklists and documentation to ensure the integrity of the data in each report pack. Including specific other requirements being - Exchange Rates, Hard Validations, Consolidations, And Runrate Checks on a monthly basis

- Foreign Exchange Analysis (FX Analysis) - Prepare and produce analysis of the Impact of Exchange Rates on Prior Period data on a monthly /Half yearly basis.

- Assist in the preparation and completion of any ad hoc requests, as and when required.

Desired Experience Profile

- A tertiary degree incorporating a major in accounting.

- Minimum should be a Bcom

- Overall 4-8 years of experience and should have decent understanding about finance, accounting, Forecasting & Group reporting or strong fundamental knowledge of the concepts.

- Previous experience in Management Reporting

- First class PC and MS Office product skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) & Visual Basic.
