Financial Analyst - GSO - Consulting Firm

We are hiring for one of the leading consulting firms for Financial Analyst-GSO

Key Responsibilities:

- Track cash inflow/outflows for capital calls and distributions and reconcile to investor records

- Prepare wires, to be sent to treasury, for investment funding to ensure funds flow through the structure correctly

- Record daily and monthly activity in Investran

- Assist in tracking investment cost and monitoring the fair value of the investments

- Assist in various LP requests including, but not limited to, cash flow history, summaries of investments, audit confirms, etc.

- Assist in maintaining investment track record

- Track cash receipts for portfolio company interest payments

- Update and maintain master cash listing and balances

- Rollforward of financial statement templates

Required Skills:

- Candidate must be a B.A., B.Com./ Graduate, Post Graduate or C.A., with knowledge of accounting and finance

- Candidates must have 2-3 years of relevant experience

- Candidates with experience in private equity business and/or public accounting experience in the - Big Four- firms preferred

- Experience in Investran will be advantageous

- Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)

- The ability to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines

- The profile involves effective communication across Clients- facilities globally and hence possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English is a must

- A demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly

- A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholder
