Job Description:

A. Business Insights and Improvements:

- Performing detailed profitability analysis on a quarterly basis

- Developing comparisons between periods and communicating with business teams

- Promoting and improving the use of PowerBI reporting in the business line

- Monitoring and analyzing business improvement initiatives

- Providing support from a financial perspective to business and finance functional projects

- Preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations

B. Monthly Financial Closing and Reporting:

- Analyzing progression of sales order book during the month

- Analyzing progression of prices and margins during the month

- Analyzing progression of non-standard variable costs during the month

- Analyzing product costing including Z3MO during the month

- Reviewing actual costs for central BL functions and creating manual journal entries

- Analyzing monthly, YTD and forward-looking P&L variances vs last year

- Supporting BL controller in analyzing and commenting monthly financial results

- Cooperating with BU TS Finance Team on monthly financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis

C. Financial Planning and Forecasting:

- Monthly consolidation and analysis of IBP monthly forecast monetization for the next 2 years

- Developing a financial forecast of inventories, receivables and payables

- Consolidating P&L, Working Capital and Capex forecasts on business line level

- Supporting the annual budget process and quarterly forecast

D. Finance Business Partnering to Global Functions:

- Supporting cost control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Business Line Global Research, Development and Innovation

- Supporting cost control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Business Line Global Technology Group

- Supporting cost control, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Business Line Global Marketing Team
