Financial Analyst - Banking

Responsibilities:

- Identify key metrics, keep track of financial KPIs, Creating future roadmap, Involved in forecasting, budgeting

- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support

- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements

- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps and recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials

- Handle monthly loan portfolio and payment reconciliation process

- Month end close of P&L and balance sheet substantiation including clearing breaks, provide commentary on material P&L moves

- Prepare regular and ad hoc financial dashboards and investor/client reports

- Perform day to day Cash Management

- Work with stake holders to build and track budgets

- Document, optimize and automate monthly reconciliation processes and reports

- Collaborate with cross functional teams to discuss product roadmap and process enhancements

Desired skill set/experience:

1. Experience in working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and comfortable with dynamically shifting priorities, timelines, and demands

2. Advanced Excel skills preferably with experience manipulating large data sets (Power BI, SQL, Tableau, VBA)

3. Experience with automation/reporting tools will be useful

4. Excellent communication skills

5. Fast learner/critical thinker

6. Detail oriented

7. Aptitude for finance/quantitative analysis

8. CA/MBA from reputed institute
