Job Responsibilities:

- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

- Formulate corporate and departmental budgets, with long term strategies.

- Make investment decisions and direct the daily financial operations of the company to reduce risk and build wealth.

- Analyse potential development projects by evaluating financial, market, and operational data to determine project viability and risk.

- Prepare financial reports and performance metrics to senior management, including income statement variances, budget preparation and analysis.

- Ensure compliance of all statutory payments on time.

- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.

- Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations.

- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.

- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

- Develop and maintain flexible and automated financial models tailored to various complex business structures

- Develop organizational business plans, incorporating leadership team guidance, to support funding discussions with prospective venture capitalists and lenders

- Work with cross-functional teams (development, legal, and marketing) to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and alignment with broader business goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- MBA, CFA, or similar certifications preferred.

- Experience in financial analysis, audit, or related fields.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and financial statements.

- Strong accounting experience

- Conversant with Tally software

- Extensive knowledge of Indian GAAP

- Computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks
