Financial Analyst 2 - Online/Retail/Internet

- The successful candidate will be part of the team which ensures that Real estate finance processes are run in a controlled environment, meeting and exceeding our customers- expectations. The candidate will report into a FP&A Manager. Works closely with other finance teams and Global financial teams to ensure we have a controlled real estate finance process to do month end analysis and reporting activities.

- Financial Analyst 2 is responsible for reviewing global capital expenditure, operational expenses, Lease and rent payment analysis, preparation of journal entries, preparing global general ledger account reconciliations, reporting and having reviews with leadership team. This position will also be responsible for hiring, training; creating and monitoring appropriate performance metrics.

Business Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the review and documentation of all new, renewed and amended leases for appropriate accounting treatment (capital versus operating lease classification).

- Complete accounting checklist for all new, renewed and amended leases.

- Participate & drive process review meetings with business partners.

- Assist team members with Day today operational issues if any

- Ensure team delivers as per agreed SLA - Travel Dash boards, Capex, Opex preparation and expenses analysis.

- Identify opportunity in Opex lines to benefit Amazon P\L.

- Responsible to frame and deliver team objectives.

- Drive process improvements required to enhance controls.

- Build and monitor performance metrics, with principal focus on ensuring timely delivery of month end reports, reconciliations and other deliverables.

- Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required.

Knowledge & Skills/ Business Acumen/ Education & Experience :

- B.COM, MBA or CWA, with 8+ or more years of post-qualification experience in Reporting, Rent analysis, Capex, Opex analysis, Reconciliation & Reporting activities

- Team Management experience

- Strong Reporting skills.

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Strong customer focus - both Internal / External

- A work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations.

- Strong interpersonal skills - including written and oral communication skills.

- Retail industry experience (Preferred)

- Experience using Oracle Financial Applications (Preferred)
