Financial Accounting/Reporting - US GAAP/SOX - Bank

FARG is responsible for financial statements, review of accounting policies and accounting of foreign branches prepared as per Indian GAAP (including consolidated financial statements) and US GAAP of the Bank, monitoring and scrutiny of transactions in office accounts used by branches and reconciliation of clearing bank accounts maintained by standalone branches.

The Group ensures that the Bank prepares the financial statements in compliance with extant guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India and the accounting standards issued by ICAI. The financial statements prepared under both the GAAPs along with the performance review of the Bank and the Internal Housekeeping Note are presented to the Audit Committee at every quarter.

The Group is also involved in understanding the new products/processes introduced by the Bank, reviewing the entries of those products along with the life cycle, executing the opening of new I Core and SAP codes and providing accounting guidance on various products and services across the Bank and its branches.

Purpose of the Job

To be a part of the team that submits data to the Audit Committee every quarter end :

Key deliverables

- Collecting and compiling details for the Internal Housekeeping Note

- Analysing and finalising entries for the various products and getting the documented/uploaded on the Bank's Accounts manual portal.

- Review of Change Request forms along with entries

- Preparing MIS for submitting to the Senior Management

- Book-keeping and accounting entries in SAP/I_Core

- Filing of DEAF Returns and RBI returns
