Our client, a premier consulting firm, is urgently seeking a seasoned SMEs with solid finance/reconciliation expertise, specialised in banking for an on-site project in Riyadh. This prestigious project, initially set for 3-4 months, presents a high likelihood of extension, offering the chosen expert a chance to influence financial practices within the end client bank significantly.
Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation Framework: Developing and implementing a comprehensive reconciliation framework for various account types, including General Ledger, credit cards, debit cards, financial institution accounts, payment gateways all Cash in/out Channels and aggregation POS accounts.
- Providing strategic insights and best practices for optimizing the manual reconciliation processes
- Training internal team to ensure sustainable and efficient reconciliation operations
- Income Recognition: Develop and implement income recognition principles for Retail businesses, covering both yield-based and fee-based income.
- Performance Reporting: Design performance reporting frameworks that consider underlying assumptions and data sources, ensuring accuracy and insightful analysis for decision-making.
Requirements
Expertise :
- Strong background in financial accounting within the banking sector, particularly experienced in reconciliation, income recognition and performance reporting
- Qualifications: Must possess CA, CFA, or an MBA in Finance from a reputable institution.
- Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record of success in financial accounting roles within the banking industry.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrable ability to present to and interact with senior stakeholders, conveying complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
Skills:
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting, with a deep understanding of banking operations and reconciliation and income streams.
- Expertise in handling financial disputes, reconciliations, and clawback procedures.
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to analyse data sources and assumptions used in performance reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with high-level stakeholders.
Other Important Information:
- This is a contractual opportunity and will be onan initial 3-4 months contract. This project would require the candidate to be based out of Riyadh KSA for the duration of the role.
