- In-depth understanding of financial modelling (including budgeting & forecasting), revenue drivers in the Retail sector and various valuation methods

- Comprehensive knowledge of financial analysis and Retail industry – Sales , Margin , Mark Down , Inventory holding and Ageing , ROCE , Rentals , Manpower Cost , Depreciation of fixtures and other Not For Retail Items
Strong understanding of reading and interpretation of P&L, B/S and Annual Reports

- Acumen to analyze and think strategically combined with ability to apply financial knowledge

- Review existing business and provide interpretation & input on areas on improvisation and growth

- Develop and maintain processes/reports to track key business metrics, analyzes and interprets data

- Monitor and advise Vertical Head on avenues for enhancing revenue and controlling expenses by staying informed about trends and best practices in cost competitiveness

- Drive business/corporate functions in executing & realizing the Strategic Plans

Desired Profile-

- Expertise in financial modelling & analysis of financial statements is a MUST

- Must be able to develop a rapport with business leaders and become a valued business partner

- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft office tools like Excel, Word etc and PowerPoint presentations

- Cost-conscious; to be able to bring best value to the company

- Excellent communication skills

- Integrity & Positive attitude

Desired Experience-

- Either worked in Corporate Finance/ Strategic Finance profile in Retail / FMCG Industry

- Either worked as Retail Analyst with Financial Service Industry
