Position Name : Finance and Operations Manager
Location : Gurgaon (Delhi)North
Educational Qualification : Bachelor degree or masters degree MBA with financial background
Languages Known : English, Hindi, German (advantage)
Experience : 7-10 years
Professional Experience : Controlling, operations accounting, intern. fin., foreign currency and tax issues, banking relations, risk man.
Operate and interface in a multinational company, working knowledge of the automotive market
Additional Experience :Audit control and procedures, development of financial policies, strong negotiation skills Purchase – market Quality Management
Job Purpose:
- Responsible for all Financial Management aspects of company operations. Provide leadership, direction, and coordination in the Administrative, Warehousing, I.M., Purchasing, Business Planning, Accounting & Budgeting efforts of the company.
- Oversee all company operations to ensure maximum efficiencies, quality, service and cost effective management of resources.
- Provide strategic direction to all departments within the company
Job Skills/competencies required :
- Manage the Financial reporting process of the company including presentation to corporate management and Board of Directors.
- Manage and Execute the annual financial business plan process
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Maintain banking relations and cash management including extensive foreign exchange dealings
- Establish, maintain, review, approve and enforce company policies and procedures and all internal control safeguards
- Provide risk analysis/management for both property and casualty insurances and employee benefits, serving on corporate committees of both.
- Serve as ISO 9001 Management Representative
- Direct, coordinate and approve all changes, new implementation, upgrades and updates to the company’s management information systems (in coordination with regional management).
- Develop and direct the implementation of strategic operational plans,projects, systems as they relate to the warehousing and assembly functions of the company.
- Provide direction and targets for the Purchasing/Replenishment strategies of the company including inventory control and overstock reduction processes
- Direct, review and approve all Human Resource activities in the company assuring compliance with all local, State, and Federal regulations
- Oversee the management of a third party warehousing and distribution operation
- Establish and implement short and long term departmental and corporate strategic objectives and goals.
- Interact with company managers to provide support and direction on planning initiatives through financial and I.M. analysis, reports, and recommendations
- Any and all other functions as required to run the operation smoothly and efficiently
