Position : Finance - Management Trainee MNC Bank KPO
Location: Gurgaon
Reports to : Senior Manager/Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Management Trainees will be expected to take on a higher level of ownership and responsibility to ensure their assigned deliverables are met, on time and at an exceptional level of quality.
Team members are required to demonstrate flexibility to manage existing workloads to enable the seamless migration of new processes and manage the risks that rapid change and growth give rise to.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Full year & half year financial statement preparation for the banking group entities
- Management reporting for Australian, North America, UK & Asian domiciled entities
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations & General Ledger processing
- Direct & Indirect income tax compliance for Australian, US & UK domiciled entities
- Involvement in various GFS & General Ledger projects
- Execution of operational risk processes
- Legal entity maintenance & compliance
Qualifications:
- CA with relevant post qualification experience of more than 1 year.
- Preferably from Big 4
- Willingness to travel overseas
Key skills needed
Business Knowledge
- Experience in a Professional Accounting firm / financial services and/or commerce.
- Preferred exposure to global consolidations, statutory/financial reporting and tax will be ideal.
Leadership Skills
- Willing to take accountability and follow tasks through to their completion
Interpersonal Skills
- Able to interact with and influence all levels of staff, including other GFS teams located in Gurgaon.
- Respond clearly to questions from others, including those more senior and shares information with others in a timely manner
Client Orientation
- Strong customer service ethic, maintaining internal controls and independence from front office staff
Technical Specialist Skills
- Must have strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Proficient with MS Excel and Word
- Can resolve complex/ technical issues in a practical manner
- Strong team player.
Planning & Organising
- Well organised, self starter who can manage a range of competing priorities and projects
- Anticipates upcoming tasks and adjusts work plans accordingly.
- Takes ownership, implements and considers impact of decisions made
- Attention to detail
