Functional Area: Finance & Accounts

Dept- TSF, Shared Service Centre

As a Finance Manager of TSF, the candidate would be expected to play four key roles:

- Custodian of all financial information of the Business Unit (BU)

- Controller and Risk manager for the business

- Business partner in reviewing business performance and evaluating new business opportunities

- Lead the improvement of systems and processes in the BU

Key Stakeholders

- TSF Head and business team / Treasury Head and team / Other BU CFOs / Corporate Finance / Legal Counsel / Tax and Audit Department / Shared Service Centre team for Accounts and Execution

- Reporting to OGBS structure and TSF CFO

Key Performance Matrices include:

- FP & A role - Timely review of Management information system (MIS) with a detailed analysis and insights on the accounts/reports as prepared by SHARED SERVICE CENTER as well as received from overseas subsidiaries ensuring completeness and accuracy of the data presented.

- Driving business performance through business analysis and review with different legal entities.

- Work closely with other BU CFOs and origin/country CFOs for transfer pricing, tax efficiency and audit support for TSF business and supervise the same with the support team for all TSF trades.

- Actively participate in the preparation of the annual budgets, comparison of actual performance against the budget, identifying and analyzing variance, and monitoring implementation of agreed action points.

- Play a key role as Controller and Risk Manager for the BU ensuring that (i) the trades are executed as per policy and guidelines agreed with TSF traders / origin CFOs / country management; (ii) FX and trading exposure management ensuring that risk limits approved by Risk Office are adhered to; (iii) monitor and control accuracy and completeness of underlying data used in the Financial Statements to mitigate operational & reputational risk; (iv) approval of payments to be made for settlement of transaction in line of structure and credit approval; etc.

- Get involved in strategic business discussions relating to architecture, operating model, approval of new products/structures and expanding to new geographies

- Work with business to improve and strengthen the IT system and processes for capturing the trades, monitoring their execution and proper reporting and recording in MIS

Requirements:

Education / Experience / Technical Skills:

- Chartered Accountant with 8-10 Years of experience. Previous experience in TSF business with strong knowledge of products traded would be an added advantage.

- Managed full set of management accounts and good functional skills on accounting and analytics.

- Having worked in a multi-cultural and multi geography organization (exposure in a Matrix Structure is preferred).

- Key Strengths ~ Financial Concepts and Analysis, IFRS knowledge, Interacting with Business Managers and work on Business Partnering, Team Player and ability to manage different Stakeholders, Value or commercial Bent of mind or aptitude. Having worked in a SAP environment would be a good advantage.

- Open to travel outside India.

- Self-motivated with an ability to get things done, without reporting lines. Ability to identify problems, implement solutions and actively work to resolve issues.
