Finance Manager - Private Equity Firm - CA

We are looking for a dynamic finance professional to be a part of the finance operations at a Private Equity firm as we gear up for our next phase of growth and into our 2nd fund.

Profile: Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of relevant work experience.

Role description: The role will support the Finance Head in multiple capacities including fund management, accounting, audit, taxation, finance operations, reporting and compliance, investor relations and related matters.

- Maintaining/reviewing accounting and compliance documents across all entities.

- Ensuring timely and proper compliance for all entities (including SEBI, RBI, Income Tax, Companies Act, secretarial, and other statutory requirements).

- Co-coordinating with Administrators for current funds.

- Responsible for capital calls, management fees, NAV calculation, distribution of capital, IRRworking, cash flow and treasury management across entities.

- Co-ordination for quarterly valuation of portfolio companies

- Quarterly and Annual reporting to investors and assisting in investor queries

- Working with portfolio companies on reporting, compliance and audit processes etc., as andwhen required.

- Co-ordinate with tax consultants, administrators, legal consultants, secretarial consultants forvarious matters pertaining to tax, accounting, secretarial, valuation and regulatory matters for new funds setup and management of existing funds

- Be abreast of recent regulatory changes and flag off any key changes with impact analysis to themanagement team as well as portfolio companies.

Skillsets: The ideal candidate will possess the below skillsets:

- 4 - 6years of work experience, preferably in big 6-7 audit firms or major retail brands

- Has knowledge of and worked extensively in managing end to end finance including fund raising.

- Exposure to PE/VC sector will be an added plus.

- Self-starter with strong communication and presentation skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

- Thorough, organized and high attention to details.

- High learning quotient and desire to grow.
