Our clients seek an accomplished Mumbai-based Finance Manager to take ownership of the AIF (Alternate Investment Fund) accounting function.

Ideal candidates must demonstrate high initiative, ownership, and integrity and possess a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.

Job Profile

1. Manage accounting & financial operations of the investment fund, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation, preparation, and review of accounting books.

2. Oversee preparation and distribution of financial reports to investors and regulatory bodies. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, tax laws, SEBI regulations, and GAAP.

3. Ensure timely audit closures, including valuations of the portfolio companies.

4. Provide full back-office support in the execution of the investment transaction regarding the purchase, sale, or retention of investments. Identify and manage financial risks associated with the fund's investments, including credit, market, and liquidity risks.

5. Manage a team of finance professionals, including external service providers for fund accounting, custody, and investor relations services.

6. Address investor queries and build a strong relationship with the fund investors.

7. Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.

Candidate Profile

1. Education: CA / MBA with 5+ years' experience in Fund Accounting (AIF experience preferred) and related activities

2. Should be able to manage multiple deliverables.

3. Possess the highest standards of speed, accuracy, and precision
