We currently are looking for Finance Manager for one of the leading freight forwarding organizations in India.

Qualification - CA

Experience - 10 to 12 years qualitative finance experience / exposure to global finance management systems

Functional Skills - Analytical Ability / Influencing Skills

Behavioral - Team Player / Trustworthy & Reliable with ability to communicate effectively at various levels

- Confident communicate as this role will involve liaising with various key senior manager of the business

IT Skills - A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (Understanding V-Lookup, Pivot and Functions an advantage)



Job Profile

1. Oversees the finance management and production of sound financial information by the finance team and managing the accounts payable department and is ultimately responsible for the efficient management of the purchase ledger function and the payment of all company invoices in a timely fashion

2. Knowledge of applicable Taxes i.e TDS, Service Tax, Transfer pricing

3. production of accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis,, management of the ledger department, and all other accounting related activities

4. Liaising with the operational managers to produce monthly management accounts, providing commentary to senior management on significant variances.

5. Set up and maintain fixed-asset register and calculating depreciation.

6. Ensure smooth banking relationship

7. Finalize the Annual accounts for yearly Audit

8. Ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Payable department

9. Performing the month end closing process and reconciliation of the ledgers

10. Maintain excellent working relationship with external supplier

11. Ensure the Accounts Payable team are replying to all queries in a timely manner and all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently

12. Provide day to day management of the Purchase Ledger team - motivating and leading the team you will also lead the way in developing processes and efficiency

13. Performance management of staff and monthly appraisals

14. Regular reporting and analysis to key senior managers in the business

15. A good knowledge & understanding of the Accounts Payable function with a minimum of three years experience managing the Accounts Payable

16. Will have experience of processing and payment of invoices in multiple currencies as well as experience of working in an outsourced Accounts Payable function

17. Proven experience within a high volume accounts payable environment
