Finance Manager - FMCG

Finance Manager with our clients who are a large, leading, professionally managed Global MNC Consumer organisation - World leaders and amongst the best in their field. Job Profile & KRAs:

i) Reporting & Analytics-Preparation of key analytics:

a) Qualitative MIS reflecting the credit opinion risks and watch outs for the overall India Credit position.

b) Focused MIS by Zone / Regions leading to objective discussions and actions plans and specific end of season / mid season Credit opinion

c) Specific Analysis around key customers capturing their changing trends as watch outs.

d) Efficacy of credit related market funding schemes and its impact on collections and receivables.

ii) Seamless Interface with Sales Teams for better Credit Management through:

a) Greater level of interaction with Sales Managers

b) Visits to market / key customers to gain an understanding of the on the ground situation and thereby improving the ability to manage credit.

c) Attending BRMs on a periodic basis to understand practical problems and help devise innovative solutions.

d) Evaluation and implementation of Customer financing options.

iii) Accounting & Control Activities:

a) Month-end accounting, reporting and forecast preparation

b) Preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliation and SOX documentation.

c) Bi-Annual Review of Credit Limits.

d) Compliance with requirements of Internal Audit, Statutory audit and quarterly review of Listed Entity.

e) Review of New Customers

f) Review of Cheque bouncing cases and provision for doubtful accounts

g) Drive Customer Confirmation process.

iv ) Financial and Business Planning.

- To Focus on Business planning and partnering with internal customers in order to streamline the processes which improve profitability of the company

v) Interaction with Business Teams.

a) Preparation of monthly detailed business analysis reports to support decision making for senior management.

b) Participating intensely in the budgeting activity and creation of budget templates and improvements in the budgeting templates and various cost drivers for key components in budget.

c) Liasion with all the divisional heads and preparing key decision making reports by acting as an effective business partner.

d) Preparing Corporate Monthly Estimate (CME) forecast for next month"s business performance.

Candidate Profile:

- CAs with 2-5 years relevant exprience with reputed organisations having national level distribution/dealer networks e.g. fmcg, durables, paints, tyres, agro-products, lubes, building materials etc. Work experience in Global MNC / Progressive Indian organisations is desirable
