Finance Manager


Role and Responsibilities:

Accounts Setup and Streamlining:

- Establish and streamline accounting departments and systems

- Implement and monitor day-to-day accounting and financial reporting systems.

- Create and deploy a software-based accounting system for both entities.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Provide daily and periodic financial reports to Directors, including dashboards, ageing reports of receivables and payables, and monthly P&L analysis.

- Prepare monthly project-wise P&L reports for the CEO.

- Conduct project-wise and batch-wise economic analyses.

Financial Management & Statutory Compliances:

- Oversee accounting, inventory management, purchase processes, vendor and partner management, and educator management.

- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including Board Resolutions, GST, ROC, Income Tax, TDS, and other taxes.

- Organize Board Meetings & Leadership Financial Meetings

- Collaborate with auditors and advisory teams to fulfill all statutory and regulatory norms.

- Manage Trademark, Legal, Statutory related matters

- Manage relationships with Banks and other financial institutions

Investor Relations and Reporting:

- Develop and maintain investor reports, valuation reports, and financial planning documents.

- Track and manage income, receivables, and collections.

- Generate investment metrics and assist in financial modeling and pricing strategies to support the roadmap to an IPO.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Controls:

- Implement monthly budgeting, forecasting, and control processes.

- Conduct financial performance reviews with respective teams.

- Implement Cost control and financial discipline measures in the organisation

Payroll and Benefits Management:

- Oversee the processing of salaries, variable pays, incentives, bonuses, ESOPs, and other benefits in coordination with the HR department.

- Manage income tax return filings for directors and employees.

Partner Payments and Relationships:

- Ensure accurate and timely partner payments.

- Manage payment plans, collection plans, internal team follow ups, reviews, fulfillment and status

- Foster and maintain healthy relationships with partners and auditors.

Strategic Planning:

- Assist the CEO in financial planning, settlement of liabilities, and execution of financial strategies.

- Provide insights to the CEO on financial positions, strategies, profitability, product pricing etc.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, and control.

- Strong knowledge of financial systems, accounting software, and compliance regulations.

- Strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets

- Experience in managing accounts for both internal and external entities.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.

- Strong communication and reporting skills.

- Ability to manage and lead financial operations in a dynamic environment.

- Experience in investor relations and preparing for an IPO is a plus.

- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Proven ability to effectively manage and coordinate remote teams, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and collaboration across various location offices as well as work-from-home team members.

Office Location and Travel:

- This position is based in Bangalore and requires full-time, on-site work.


- You should be prepared for potential travel to various business locations for operational and business purposes.
