Finance Head- Personal Care.
Excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Finance Head (VP) to join this Market leading FMCG / Beauty & Wellness organisation.
Reporting to and acting as a true business partner to the Group CFO, you will direct, oversee and manage all of the financial activities, to include the preparation of current financial reports and forecasts for future business growth of personal care products business. You will play a critical role as a member of the management team in developing the profitability of the business and developing the future strategies of the business and value creation.
Key responsibilities will span:
- Development and provision of effective strategic, financial and resource planning as the business continues to expand its market share
- To ensure the business meets its business, Group and legal fiduciary duties with the Law and within the guidelines of the organisation
- To manage the finance function in order to facilitate change, improvement and financial awareness throughout the entire organization
- To be part of group fund raising exercise thru’ private equity and IPO and provide necessary inputs for personal care products business
Main Responsibilities:
- To lead, manage and develop the finance function and ensure resources and processes are in place to drive effective performance in the business and monitor performance against budget
- To work in partnership with the GM to develop and implement business strategy and drive improvement in business performance providing necessary data and analysis as required
- To ensure all the financial requirements of the business are met including the co-ordination and management of monthly financial reporting
- To monitor expenses and maintain cost controls of all departments
- To review each component of value chain with past experience and help in controlling production cost, logistics and distributors claims and schemes.
- To ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and reporting schedules met
- To ensure compliance with all internal and external requirements for statutory, business and corporate reporting
- To ensure appropriate KPI's are in place, monitored and managed
- To ensure the necessary controls (internal and external) are in place to manage and safeguard all commercial activities
- Working capital management / Cash Flow management
- Identifying cost control parameters
- Implementing cost effective system to control the expenses
- State-wise / product category wise profit contribution management with gap analysis
- Budget management
- Driving the management with analysis of new business opportunities to meet the business objective
- Evaluating the existing business operations and suggesting developments plan with cost effectiveness
- Establishing pricing / schemes / trade marketing / BTL activities
- Pricing policy / sales realization of FMCG products
- Inventory movement
- Microsoft Navision ERP exposure will be added advantage
- Exposure in export business
- Fund raising for the growth of the business
- Minimizing the factory operational cost at various locations (which includes raw material purchase, vendor management, logistics, input & output material balancing etc)
The ideal candidate will be :
Commercially aware, Qualified senior finance professional (CA) with experience gained working within a FMCG / Manufacturing organisation.
In addition you must possess excellent leadership skills, strong commercial and business acumen combined with a demonstrable track record in people and change management.
