POSITION DETAILS:

Position: Head Finance (Designation can be discussed)

Education: Either MBA from Top 20 B Schools OR CA (2005 - 2007 Batch Passout)

Age between 29 to 32 yrs

Gender: Male / Female

Traveling: 3 to 4 Days Travel in a month

Location: Bangalore Based

Team: 6 to 7 people in his team and growing

Working days: 6 Day week

Compensation: Grade and compensation will be based on the experience of the individual.

Cross Functional Experience will definitely be required in this person

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Independently handle Accounts upto Finalization, Closure of books of accounts on monthly & annual basis. Responsible for proper maintenance of Division Financials, managing relations with Franchisee, Distributors and other Business partners. Liaisoning with branches of entire India for follow up on receivables, sales & branch expense accounting

2. Preparing and implementing cash flows and predicting future trends

3. Sales and margin analysis, Analysis of MIS reports and to provide feedback to Top Management on performance viz. Profitability, Sales Achievement & Overhead Control.

4. Preparing periodic/annual budgets and exercising Budgetary Control through regular appraisals of actual performance vs. budgeted, analyzing variance and taking corrective action in case of negative variance

5. Income Tax compliance including issuance of TDS Certificates, filing of quarterly TDS returns, preparation of Form 3CEB (Transfer Pricing) etc.

6. Foster positive relationship with Govt. machinery- Central Excise, Service Tax and Sales Tax

7. Responsible for Statutory Audit, Tax Audit and Compliance. Should have experience in ERP implementation

8. Experience in setting up Finance processes for a growing and fast paced organization.

9. Independent Liasioning with Bankers for Short / Midterm and Longterm needs of the organization.

DESIRED CANDIDATE:

1. MBA/ Chartered Accountant with around 6 years experience preferably in Retail/ Apparel/ FMCG Industry

2. The position demands a knowledgeable and mature persona who can take responsibility of the business. The position shall report directly to the Senior Management Team

3. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), Start-up experience preferred

4. Experience setting up processes for Finance function.

5. IT Savvy, exposure to ERP systems.
