Job Responsibilities:
Routine:
- Team Management- Managing a team of 30+ (Direct + Indirect) handling back office operations, Repayments, Loan booking, closures etc
- Monitoring and managing day-day operations, ensuring uninterrupted process flow & process continuity
- Ensuring that all processes are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements / Lender Contracts.
- Collaborate with multiple departments including Operations, Customer Experience, Product to understand and quantify the impacts on the processes of key business decision and tradeoffs
- Have sound understanding of accounting entries for loan lifecycle and manage transaction accounting with finance team, and liaise with auditors
- Develop and deliver MIS/reports for cross functional & leadership operational reviews
- Set up a strong review mechanism to enhance reconciliations, ensure no large open items (in amount and in age)
- Build a bridge with the Finance control team to ensure audit readiness at all points of time.
- Develop along with Finance team a robust accounting back-end within the LMS to ensure key financial reporting items are available automated, have internal controls and address requirements of audit/due diligence
- Build & drive effective escalation matrix and manage troubleshooting issues. Follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed and ensuring service requirements are met.

Company is poised for rapid growth. To cater to the same, the Back office function needs to work with certain strategic objectives and create capacity and skill sets for smooth operation and quality deliverables. Towards this, the responsibilities shall include certain one-time process and automation projects and few regular projects:
- Identify areas for Automation projects and work with Technology team to implement the projects in a time-bound manner
- Automation projects should involve seamless movement of data sets, creation of a data mart/warehouse in a standardized form, introduce customizations in the LMS application, reduce reconciliation volumes and timelines, with a focus on making the Back office ready for scale
- Driving Processes- Build & drive sustainable metrics/targets for the Back office function
- Drive Efficiency through continuous monitoring of existing processes in order to improve productivity and reduce the overall cost per transaction
- Drive Process excellence through designing/re-designing blueprints for internal processes and ensuring SOP adherence, Cross Functional SLAs, and zero operational risks in the BO processes
- Lead initiatives to identify and eliminate root causes of defects and opportunities to improve or simplify SOPs in order to drive efficiency

Experience:
- Graduate / Post graduate / Chartered Accountant
- NBFC / Fintech experience preferred, experience in Gold loan / retail loan finance companies desirable
- Should have managed a large team (>10 members)
- >7years of Work experience
