About our Client:

Our Client is one of the fastest growing online retail businesses in India and has recently emerged as a dominant player in the online marketplace, having consolidated its position amongst the top 3 Indian brands. They have over 2000 employee base in India and are headquartered in Delhi NCR. They are expanding their team and are looking for a person to head Finance Function for their logistics arm- which is backbone of their business

Job Description:

- Reporting into the business head for the logistics business, you will oversee budget/forecast preparation and management, accounting controls and financial reporting for distribution center expenses and capital investments.

Some of the key job responsibilities are:

- Structuring MIS, comprehensive variance analysis reports.

- Ensuring compliance for Direct / Indirect Taxes. Monthly & yearly closing of Books of Accounts as per Indian GAAP.

- Monitoring internal controls and ensure that all the accounting activities adhere to the policies.

- Ensure reconciliation with all the logistic partners and Bank Gateways.

- Liaising with Statutory, Tax & Internal Auditors

- Managing primary banking relations and monitor cash flow to ensure smooth operations.

- Identifying opportunities to reduce the cost of operation.

- Be a key contributor in annual budgeting and business strategy exercise

- System and process Implementation and drive automation of processes

The Successful Candidate:

- You must be CA with 8-11 years of post qualification experience in eCommerce, Retail, Logistics industry with at least 3 years experience in handling Finance controllership role.

- A candidate looking for entrepreneurial work environment along with a proactive and dynamic personality would be ideal fit for this role.
