About our Client - Our client is a UK Based MNC, specializing in business, enterprise as well as carrier solutions to various sectors like Telecom, IT, and Financial Services. With a customer- oriented vision, they are looking at hiring key talent for the capability center set up in Delhi NCR. They are currently hiring for a Head of Finance based out of their office in Gurgaon

Job Description - Reporting directly into Global Finance Head, you will be responsible for:

- Leads the Functions to efficiently prepare an annual plan, forecast and budget which are commercially sound, tight and well understood and owned by the team

- Ensures the production of consolidated financial and/or regulatory reporting for the Country, in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements and to the highest standards:

- Accurate, timely and error free.

- Analysis and interprets Statutory and Tax reporting and makes appropriate recommendations

- Works in true partnership with the CoE Leads and General Accounting team to provide value-added strategic financial and business support (with a particular focus on driving into the commercial space in the marketplace.

- Delivers comprehensive, timely and first-rate financial advice to the business to facilitate understanding and decision-making.

- Ensure statutory & regulatory compliance under Software Technology Parks of India, Special Economic Zones, Department of Telecommunications & Customs rules Enforce Compliance to Group Finance Policies and procedures.

- Define compliance objectives for the organization and ensure effective compliance to mitigate the risks by ensuring compliance to agreements, contracts, SLAs, internal policies and procedures.

- Manage Indirect tax assessments and tax refunds under Service Tax & VAT rules and ensure timely submission of refund claims, statutory returns under VAT, TDS, Service tax rules.

- Responsible for handling departmental audits for service tax and TDS. Support Group Financial Controller in operational reviews, tax filings & assessments.

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA with 10+ years of post qualification experience in an MNC environment having experience in the fields of overall Financial Accounting and Planning & Analysis. You should have exposure of interacting with stakeholders from different countries and cultural environments. Company secretary qualification exposure to Oracle 11i/12 will be an added advantage.
