Finance Head - Agro Processing/FMCG Industry

POSITION: Finance Head

LOCATION: Ahmedabad

DEPARTMENT: Finance

JOB DESCRIPTION

- Drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.

- Raising funds for the company as and when required and optimising the cost of funds raised.

- Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.

- Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system.

- Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel (management accountants, internal auditors etc.).

- Oversee all audit and internal control operations.

- Develop the corporate fund raising strategy and manage relationships with partners and investors.

- Collating, reviewing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements monthly/ quarterly/ annually.

- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to senior leadership.

- Undertaking strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning.

- Controlling income, cash flow and expenditure and managing budgets.

- Supervising staff.

- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

SKILLS

- Proven experience as Finance Head or similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.

- Concrete knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.

- Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Tally, ERP)

- An analytical mind with a strategic ability.

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.

QUALIFICATION: Qualified Chartered Accountant/ MBA (Finance)

EXPERIENCE: 15+ years and experience in Agro processing industry/FMCG
