Finance Event Manager

Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Management:

- Plan, coordinate, and execute financial events (conferences, seminars, workshops) from conception to completion.

- Develop detailed project timelines, budgets, and logistics plans.

- Manage event budgets effectively and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.

Vendor Management & Collaboration:

- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors for venue, catering, audio-visual equipment, and other event services.

- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth event execution.

Communication & Coordination:

- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (finance team, marketing team) to ensure events align with overall business goals.

- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, attendees, and team members.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Assist with event marketing activities (promotional materials, registration management).

- Analyze event data and measure event success to identify areas for improvement for future events.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a finance-related role.

- Prior experience in event planning or coordination is a plus.

- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
