Finance Director/Chief Financial Officer - CA/ICWA - IT

Must have completed CA or ICWA and should have at least 7 years post qualification experience

About Company :

- Our client is US Based Multinational having close to US$ 24 Millions of turn over. Over all there are more than 600 employees working and looking for Director Finance to facilitate next phase of growth of the organisation.

Required Qualification : Qualified CA/ICWA, with 12 - 15 years of total work experience in IT service industry

Job Purpose :

- To Lead India Finance Operations and Analysis in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, engaging in cost accounting & analysis, and reviewing operational performance

Key Responsibilities and Accountability :

Corporate Planning & Systems :

- Involved in corporate planning during organizational structuring at all levels

- Involved in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the company

- Involved in Financial projections of collaborations / joint ventures envisaged

Finance, Banking and Working Capital :

- Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting

- Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment

- Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements

- Manages Payroll and Payroll Systems for India organization

- Use hedging to mitigate financial risks related to the interest rates on the company's borrowings, as well as on its foreign exchange positions

- Maintain banking relationships & Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure

- Surplus Fund Management in terms of placement of inter-corporate deposits to Corporate

- Preparation and appraisal of working capital proposal

- Arranging Suppliers' Credit and Buyers' Credit

- Placement of commercial papers and Guarantees

Financial Analysis :

- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company

- Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management

- Engage in bench-marking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement

- Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities

- Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput

- Participate in target costing activities to create products that meeting predetermined price goals

- Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing

- Compile key business metrics and report on them to management

- Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis

- Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management

Accounts & Audit :

- Finalization of accounts, divisional & branch accounting

- Attending statutory auditors, internal auditors

- Tax audit details preparation

- Computerized accounting

- Debtors' management and credit control

- Accounting Standards and their implementation

- Insurance Portfolio Management

Taxation & Compliance :

- Oversee Personal taxation - employees

- Oversee Filing of returns and attending tax authorities for assessments and appeals

- Expertise in Direct/indirect taxes

- Manages Compliance for the India organization

MIS, Budgeting & Costing :

- Costing - product and process

- Budget preparation and Budgetary controls

Desired Skills :

- Candidate must be fully conversant with Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost & Credit Control, Margin Analysis, Costing & Profitability Analysis and Management Reporting

- Candidate must be very well versed in dealing with Banks and Financial Institutions, Managing Processes, People Management, Data Entry Management, Reporting Skills, Compensation and Wage Structure, Benefits Administration, Worker Compensation, Employment Law, Developing Standards, Financial Skills, Accounting

- Candidate must be experienced with arranging Project Finance for various projects as well as Expansions etc.

- Knowledge of innovative Financing Structures and Funding Mechanisms will serve as an added advantage for the applicant

- Candidate should be smart and articulate with good communication and presentation skill

Working conditions :

- Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries.
