Finance Controllership

The Finance Controller will be required to perform:

- Monitoring and balancing cash flows into and out of a business to meet obligations and optimize funds flow.

- Managing banking relationships and ensuring a healthy monitoring of exchange of data

- Ensuring transactions are properly approved and coded in the general ledger.

- Managing Inter-Co reconciliations with regular periodicity.

- Identify areas for improvement in financial analysis, forecasting and commercial support, drive improvements in efficiency and quality of business support. Identify opportunities to streamline, automate or digitize reporting, and reduce manual work.

- Full responsibility of preparing and managing the Balance Sheet and P&L, including oversight on Procurements & Accounts Payable processes, Receipts and Accounts receivable processes, Direct and Indirect taxes, expense processing

- Coordinating with auditors including external, internal, compliance and tax auditors.

- Assist in developing financial strategy, including risk minimisation plans and opportunity forecasting.

- Identifying efficiency and opportunities for cost reductions across the business.

- Monitor business control effectiveness and develop/execute improvement plans to assure accurate financial reporting

- Providing financial reporting and analysis to guide decision-making.

- Good at stakeholder management including working with Internal teams and External Consultants

- Responsible for timely & accurate month, interim and year end close activities

An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has:

- Qualified CA with 6 to 12 years of relevant experience

- Strong proven leadership skills particularly, in terms of developing talent, setting direction, and managing the performance of team size of more than 5.

- Well versed with software tools like MS-Office, Power BI, ERP

- Good to have Legal Knowledge (Company's law)

- Candidate should possess strong ownership, passion for achieving results, diving deep and gathering insights.

- Good communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to work under pressure with limited resource and tight timelines

- Candidate should be a self-starter, have good advanced excel skills.

- Work exposure, good understanding of Retail/eCommerce/FMCG business would be a plus!
