Finance Controller - Travel/Hospitality Startup

Looking for a Finance Controller for VC Funded Travel/Hospitality company in Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities :

- Drive overall direction across Financial Reporting, Accounting & Internal Controls, Financial Analysis, Forecasting & Budgeting and Cash Flow Management;

- Oversee budgeting and implementation of budgets to monitor progress and present operational metrics both internally & externally;

- Experience in dealing with banks and RBI rules regarding transacting global business

- Lead budgets, planning, forecasting, pricing, deal negotiations, due diligence and all finance-related activities; oversee investment of funds, manage associated risks

- Strong Accounting knowledge using India GAAP - Accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll management, etc.

- Experience in Finance Operations and creating policies and procedures to pass internal and external audits

- Setting up systems and processes for financial management

- Strong understanding of India tax laws, both corporate and personal, India statutory rules and guidelines

- Budget creation and budget management

- Treasury & Banking - Exchange rate management, Preparing Projections and arranging project funding from domestic and overseas lenders, Preparing Cash flow and Working Capital Management, Fund Management
