About our Client - Our Client is one of the largest players in the Retail Industry today, with presence in over 30 countries across the globe. They are expanding their operations across Asia Pacific and are currently looking for a experienced Finance professional to head up their South Asia expansion.

Job Description - Based in Delhi NCR, reporting to Asia Finance Controller, you will be responsible for:

- Implementation and maintenance of strong financial controls for the South Asia business.

- Complete adherence to all statutory and legal requirements including day-to-day financial management, external filings and reporting.

- Managing the local bank accounts, including preparation of bank reconciliations

- Assisting Merchandisers and Trading to ensure product costings, in addition to developing and improving the relationship with suppliers

- Provisioning on a timely basis of accurate and fully analyzed management information for use both locally and within head office, with recommendations to drive further growth and savings.

- Driving the overseas business in providing financial evaluation and options to support key decisions

- Providing IT, legal and admin support, which will include the set-up and any subsequent expansion.

The Successful Candidate - The successful applicant will be CA qualified with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience. You must have had experience within an MNC environment with a strong grasp of controls and processes and operate with a high level of professional integrity. As this is a Sole Contributor position, the successful candidate will be hands-on with day to day finance activity and have the ability to communicate effectively at both senior and junior levels.
