Finance Controller - Real Estate Industry - CA

- As a part of the role, the incumbent should be responsible to drive Revenue Recognition and Accounts Receivable functions of the organization and be the nerve center of this function.

- Incumbent should be well versed with revenue recognition norms of various business including consulting, advisory, technology, marketplace, GMV etc.

- Incumbent should be well versed with gross and net reporting as per accounting standards.

- The position will own and lead all day-to-day revenue and AR operations along with a team.

- Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills as role demands coordination with multiple stakeholders.

- Maintain effective process controls and compliance environment.

- Strong subject matter expertise and relevant experience of Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Reporting, GST and MIS.

Qualification :

- Chartered Accountancy.

- ERP exposure and exposure to profit center centric environment will be handy.

Location : Bangalore, role reporting to CFO.

Primary area wise responsibilities as below :

Revenue & Accounts Receivable :

- Responsible for leading and managing a team that ensures revenue is recognized in line with regulatory requirements and accounting standards post ensuring strong documentation trail.

- Responsible for continuous process improvement in Revenue Recognition process and agreements.

- Responsible for technology implementation in the area.

- Responsible for balance sheet reconciliations of revenue related areas.

- Responsible for audits in revenue and AR related areas.

- Required to work closely with business heads in ensuring smooth revenue recognition with clear visibility and accountability.

- AR ; responsible for formulating and implementing standard operating procedures for AR and oversee client reconciliation and balance confirmations.

- AR ; responsible for analyzing AR, ensuring appropriate controls and reporting are built-in to ensure collections are driven in a timely manner.
