About our Client - Our client is an multiple-award winning, real estate business with operations across the world. They have managed to build a strong brand in India by developing monumental and remarkable structures. The business has grown considerably over the past few years and they are looking for a capable Financial Controller to be based in Bangalore.

Job Description - You would be reporting directly to the CFO India, managing a team of 12 people across Accounts Payable, Receivable, treasury, Taxation and Corporate Finance. You would lead all the large scale projects from their office based in Bangalore. As a brief summary of your responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory matters in respect of accounting, finance, audit and tax

- Ensure reporting requirements laid down as per I-GAAP, US-GAAP and IFRS

- Treasury management - this would include including cashflow projections, liquidity management, management of financing / borrowings

- Manage all budgeting & forecasting for the business

- Support the management in maintaining an effective control environment and ensure financial controls, policies and procedures are adhered to

- Propose and implement initiatives for continuous improvement

- Work closely with the the auditors on the statutory, internal and tax audits

- Support the management in financial and business reviews, feasibility studies and other financial analysis

- In addition, you would be required to motivate, develop and nurture the internal talent in the organisation.

The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 12 to 15 years post qualification experience and have been managing the Finance function of an MNC real estate consultancy or real estate developer. You are well versed with I-GAAP, IFRS and US-GAAP reporting and have managed a team of at least 8 people. You must have experience in Project management (OPEX, CAPEX etc.) and arranging of funds through bankers. You must have a strong track record of success in leading projects and working with international teams.
